Thank you for checking out “ProMediaTube.com”, the FREE user-generated video networking site for Media Pros.
User-Generated Video. Its not just for kids anymore. Use it to communicate with peers. It’s a great tool for sharing ideas, getting in touch with people with similar interests, or finding new associations, clients, suppliers and customers.
ProMediaTube.com is a FREE video (and other media) networking site for the professional media community. Its functionality is similar to the numerous video upload and social networking sites that have popped up over the last year or so. But, there is a difference.
This site is for Media Professionals.
If you work in media production, post-production, pro audio, graphics, animation, broadcast, cable, satellite, Internet, or related technology, manufacturing, press, or business fields, this site is for you. If you are not in or related to professional media, please fell free to enjoy the content, but do not register. (We will remove members that do not appear to be legitimate.)
When you become a member, you can log on, create your own profile and space, upload videos, audio, photos, create blogs, forums and groups, all for FREE. You can also link uploaded video pages to your own website, or distribute them to other video sites. You need to supply a valid email address when you register, but the other members won’t see it unless you give it to them.
The site is brand new as of April, 2007. What it becomes will ultimately be determined by you, the users.
Its open to everyone in the Community. So, use your imagination and creativity. Promote your product or service. Talk tech. Show off your work.
We hope to see demo reels, commentary, product information, advice and tips, stuff for sale, whatever you want to put up for others in the community to see and hear. Videos can be commercially produced, something shot on a trade show floor with a camcorder or cell phone camera, a webcam commentary or whatever works for you.
The only rules are the obvious ones. Don’t upload copyrighted material that you don’t have the rights to. Don’t upload pornography or obsene material or language. Don’t upload material that disparages people on the basis of race, religion, sexual orientation etc.. Facts and opinions are fine, but try to be fair and reasonable and avoid being offensive to other members or their businesses. Read the whole user agreement. If you violate the terms, your videos will be taken down and you will be barred from further participation. |
